The northern chapter of Taiwan Fastener Trading Association (TFTA) held a heartwarming yearend dinner gala and president reelection and handover on Oct. 2nd. The hosts of the gala, Josh Chen of Yung King Industries and Chin-Kai Lin of Fontec Screws, smoothly completed the re-election of president and director-general. Cindy Wang, general manager of Keep Fastener was nominated and voted by a majority of the participants as the new president of the northern chapter, effective from 2016 to 2017. She will also work with the new director-general Anteia Liu (of Yee Kun Machine Industrial) to further promote friendship among the fellow members
Being given the new role, president Wang said, “The norther chapter as a view exchange platform has successfully consolidated the friendship among all northern chapter fellow members. This success can be also attributed to Ms. Tammy Huang, who established this platform in her presidency. Through the platform, Huang formed a competitive and cooperative relationship that is precious to all of us, and therefore the consolidation of friendship among fellow members becomes the goal and duty for every president.” In terms of the future events under the leadership of the new president, the northern chapter will continue to hold quarterly forums, dinner galas, and factory tours, as well as actively attend events held by the southern and central chapters of TFTA. Wang thinks that, as the current economic condition still shows many uncertainties, so she suggests the industries should grasp this chance to make themselves better and take Taiwanese fastener industry to a whole new level via close interaction and cooperation, in order to create business opportunities for the industry.
